About The Position

The Hospital Lab Technician at the University of California, Davis, provides essential technical support in the Immunology and Virology laboratories. Requirements

• Experience using a fluorescent microscope to observe and interpret fluorescent stains.
• Experience calculating dilutions and preparing solutions.
• Experience with the propagation and maintenance of mammalian cell cultures in vitro.
• Knowledge of immunological principles and the ability to interpret specific titers.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to interact with diverse groups.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a laminar flow biological hood.
• Familiarity with UC data systems such as VIPER and VMACS.
• Knowledge of the structure and function of the VMTH Diagnostic Laboratories.

Responsibilities
