About The Position

in Collaborative is building a talent pipeline of Hospital Housekeeping leaders to support potential upcoming federal healthcare facility contracts. These roles will support environmental cleaning and hospital housekeeping services within Veterans Affairs (VA) medical facilities. Selected candidates will be placed into a bench candidate pool and may be contacted immediately upon contract award to support operations at VA healthcare facilities. Hospital housekeeping leadership plays a critical role in maintaining infection prevention standards, patient safety, and environmental cleanliness within healthcare environments. Candidates may be considered for the following roles: Hospital Housekeeping Supervisor Hospital Housekeeping Shift Leader

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional housekeeping experience
  • Minimum 3 years of general housekeeping experience
  • Minimum 2 years of hospital housekeeping experience
  • Experience leading or coordinating housekeeping staff preferred
  • Must meet or exceed comparable industry certifications and training standards
  • Pass federal background investigations
  • Meet VA facility credentialing requirements
  • Comply with all federal healthcare facility regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supervising housekeeping teams in a healthcare environment preferred
  • Knowledge of infection prevention and hospital sanitation protocols
  • Familiarity with OSHA, CDC, and healthcare cleaning standards

Responsibilities

  • Supervise or lead housekeeping personnel performing hospital cleaning operations
  • Ensure compliance with VA sanitation, infection control, and safety protocols
  • Monitor cleaning quality and adherence to hospital environmental service standards
  • Train and mentor housekeeping staff
  • Coordinate daily cleaning schedules and staffing assignments
  • Maintain documentation and quality control records
  • Support patient safety initiatives and hospital cleanliness standards
