THE ROLE: We are seeking EVS Housekeepers to join our team! As an EVS Housekeeper, your role is essential in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation across the hospital premises. The responsibilities are diverse, and your contribution will play a crucial role in enhancing the comfort and safety of patients and staff.

Requirements

• MINIMUM 1-YEAR recent Hospital or Hotel Housekeeping
• Strong Communication Skills
• Strong Work Ethic
• Basic Computer Skills
• No attendance or tardy issues
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Flu vaccination required
• HS Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly performing cleaning tasks in assigned areas, which includes scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Following established procedures for the disposal of trash, biohazardous materials, and recycling.
• Safely managing cleaning chemicals, ensuring they are properly used, stored, and disposed.
• Providing deep cleaning of patient rooms, surgical areas, public spaces, offices, and restrooms.
• Assisting with inventory control of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Responding promptly to requests for cleaning or maintenance from staff, patients, and visitors.
• Complying with all regulations regarding sanitation and infection control.
• Performing additional duties or projects as assigned by the EVS Manager.
