About The Position

The Hospital Housekeeper position at Xanitos Inc. involves maintaining cleanliness and order in various healthcare facilities. The role is essential for ensuring a hygienic environment for patients and staff, particularly in a hospital setting. Housekeepers will work primarily during the 2nd shift, focusing on cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces within the healthcare campus.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent required.
• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Successful applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless exempted for medical or religious reasons.
• Post-offer medical, background screening, and drug test required.
• FLU vaccine required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
