About The Position

The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various healthcare facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring a hygienic environment for patients and staff, contributing to the overall quality of service provided by Xanitos, Inc. The position requires working on the second shift, with a focus on thorough cleaning and sanitation of patient areas and common spaces.

Requirements

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Experience in medical cleaning is a plus.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent required.
• Post-offer medical, background screening, and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.

Benefits

• Hourly pay rate of $18.98 plus $1.00 shift differential for a total of $19.98 per hour.
