About The Position

The Hospital Housekeeper position at Xanitos, Inc. involves maintaining cleanliness and order in various healthcare facilities. Housekeepers will work primarily on the first shift at Valleywise Behavioral Health Center in Mesa, AZ, and are expected to perform a variety of cleaning tasks as outlined in the responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent required.
• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Successful applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless exempted for medical or religious reasons.
• Post-offer medical, background screening, and drug test required.
• FLU vaccine required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
