About The Position

The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various healthcare facilities. This role involves performing a range of cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic environment for patients and staff, contributing to the overall quality of service provided by Xanitos, Inc.

Requirements

• Successful applicants must have a Flu vaccination as a condition of employment.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening, and Drug Test required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
