About The Position

Trihealth Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Director of Plant Operations / Hospital Facilities Director to join our leadership team. This full-time, salaried position is based in Cincinnati, OH. The DPO will work closely with the chief executive officer (CEO) to support the overall operation of the facility, including both administrative and technical operations. The role includes managing environmental services and security departments to ensure safe operating conditions in compliance with all state, federal, and accrediting agencies. The DPO will oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, utilities provision, restoration, renovation, and new construction, while also participating in hospital committees that impact the department.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in maintenance and environmental services in a hospital environment.
• Current and valid state Driver's License.
• Knowledge of JCAHO/OSHA regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CEO to support overall facility operations.
• Manage environmental services and security departments.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accrediting agency regulations.
• Oversee maintenance of the facility and grounds.
• Plan, direct, and supervise all administrative and technical aspects of the department.
• Develop, review, and manage departmental activities.
• Participate in hospital committees, specifically Safety and Infection Control Committees.
• Establish and maintain a Quality Control Program.
• Maintain Environment of Care and OSHA standards.
