What you’ll do: Serve as the primary point of contact at the reception desk, providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors. Support smooth daily operations through effective communication, concierge services, and problem resolution. Provide information on patient location, status, directions, and campus services; screen visitors for privacy compliance; answer and route incoming calls. Escort patients and visitors to clinical areas, testing locations, and key service areas; manage visitor flow and assign pagers as needed. Anticipate and resolve customer concerns by offering information, solutions, or amenities; escalate issues to appropriate departments when necessary. Maintain a clean, welcoming environment and ensure amenities are available and functional. Assist with mail or flower delivery, complete required training, and perform other duties as assigned. Provide wheelchair escorts and physical assistance to patients and visitors, including curbside and interior escorts, when assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Required: Associate degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
  • Minimum Experience: Required: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
  • Specify Degree(s): Communication, Psychology, Hospitality
  • Preferred: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
