The Hospital Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of administrative and logistical processes within a hospital setting, supporting McKesson's commitment to healthcare excellence

Requirements

  • Typically requires 5+ years of related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role within a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in SalesForce
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of distribution center operations and compliance standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate closely with hospital customers to ensure the timely and accurate receipt of medications.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with hospital customers and internal account executives.
  • Serve as a key liaison between Distribution Centers (DCs), Account Executives, and customers to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Partner with distribution center leadership to resolve issues related to order processing, deliveries, and proper product storage.
  • Prepare, analyze, and maintain operational and customer reports to identify trends and support data-driven decision making.
  • Provide general administrative and customer support, including answering phones and managing correspondence with customers and couriers.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve workflow efficiency, service quality, and overall customer satisfaction
