About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator in Oviedo Acutes who is looking to give life in a hospital setting. In this Supervisory role, located in professional nursing setting, you will provide nursing care and coordination of the nursing team in a licensed Hospital setting contracted with DaVita to provide dialysis and other services to patients. This position supports as a Supervisor for our leadership team and provides acute education to oversee teammates in regards to policies and procedures as well as manages Nurse schedules and daily census flow. At all times, the Acute Facility and the patients physician retains the ultimate authority over the patient care and treatment. Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • At least 2 years of Hemodialysis experience.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • At least 18 months of registered nursing experience.
  • Dialysis Charge RN readiness approval by clinical Nurse Manager or RN-licensed FA/GFA required.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required.

Nice To Haves

  • Acute Nursing experience preferred.
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) preferred.
  • Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) preferred.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure you and your clinical team are delivering the highest level of care to our patients by ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
  • Provide nursing care and coordination of the nursing team in a licensed Hospital setting.
  • Support the leadership team and provide acute education to oversee teammates regarding policies and procedures.
  • Manage Nurse schedules and daily census flow.
  • Build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families.
  • Deliver care to patients dealing with multiple co-morbidities requiring unique treatment plans.
  • Oversee a group of patients with the support of PCTs to conduct patient observations, measuring stats, and machine setup.
