About The Position
MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is an entity within the Medical University of South Carolina that provides healthcare to patients within the rural health network throughout the state of South Carolina. For the Orangeburg region, the Manager oversees one or more functional areas within the hospital-based services department, managing professional staff, support staff, and subordinate coordinators. This position has authority over hiring, firing, and promotions and plays a key role in improving departmental processes while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations. The Manager works independently and in collaboration with leadership to manage strategic initiatives, budget planning, and operational goals.
