About The Position

Alan B. Miller Medical Center, a state-of-the-art facility located in Palm Beach Gardens, is actively seeking a certified Pathology Assistant to join our growing team. This is a hospital-based position offering the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment with experienced colleagues. The position requires a graduate of an accredited Pathologist Assistant program and certification or eligibility for certification through the ASCP – PA(ASCP). The candidate should be proficient in the gross examination of a wide range of specimens—from small biopsies to complex resections including mastectomies, prostatectomies, nephrectomies, hysterectomies, colectomies, and more. The role involves working under the supervision of a Pathologist, as needed, with no autopsy responsibilities and no call requirements.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Pathologist Assistant program.
• Certified or eligible for certification through the ASCP – PA(ASCP).
• Proficient in gross examination of a wide range of specimens.
