About The Position
Position Summary: Provides basic patient care under the supervision of the RN team member.
Requirements
- Current California Nurses Assistant Certification.
- Current BLS provider
- AB508 Training within ninety (90) days
- Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English
- Must be able to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Position involves standing and walking for long periods of time, approximately 75% of the workday.
- Must be able to transfer and lift patients as necessary.
- Weight will vary from patient to patient.
- Must have the dexterity, coordination, and visual and auditory acuity to perform all job responsibilities.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be free from signs of illness and infection.
Nice To Haves
- High School graduate or equivalent or above
- One-year acute care experience as a nursing assistant.
