About The Position

The Hospital Account Executive is a field-based sales role responsible for driving growth and account retention within existing hospital accounts in Minnesota and Iowa. This position focuses on identifying new sales opportunities and managing service requirements, ensuring clarity and hope in healthcare decisions through effective relationship management and sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of successful experience providing services to healthcare providers.
  • Three (3) years of sales experience with a hunter mentality.
  • Knowledge of reference laboratory business, esoteric tests, and processes.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry, payors, and regulations.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth in existing hospital accounts by targeting new sales opportunities.
  • Identify and close potential leakage opportunities to ensure customer retention.
  • Develop relationships with hospital personnel at multiple levels, including decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with regional sales leaders to create business plans and effective value propositions to increase volume and profitability.
  • Educate hospital personnel on processes and procedures, including the test order process, to ensure accurate and timely transactions.
  • Implement fee increases or price changes and enforce contract compliance.
  • Provide immediate support for less complex service issues and refer complex issues to appropriate resources, following up on resolutions.
  • Maintain knowledge of all connectivity products and new tests.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
