About The Position
Amedisys is currently accepting applications for hospice volunteers in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. This role is essential in providing compassionate support to patients and their families during a critical time in their lives. Training and education will be provided to equip volunteers with the necessary skills to succeed in their roles. This includes understanding the hospice care team, providing grief support, and learning effective communication skills. No prior experience is required to apply for this volunteer position. Amedisys welcomes individuals who are 18 years or older, possess compassion for others, and are willing to commit at least one hour per week to support patients and their families.
