About The Position
The Hospice Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for the organization and maintenance of the hospice volunteer program. The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for supervising the qualified volunteers, ensuring the volunteers help meet the patient's needs and follow the interdisciplinary plan of care. Responsibilities also include volunteer recruitment, orientation, training, placement, supervision and the documentation of these activities.
