This position is PRN, however schedule is autonomous and can be flexible around other work obligations. This position provides social work and bereavement/grief support to our patients and families. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) to join our interdisciplinary team and provide comprehensive psychosocial support to patients and families facing end-of-life issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, counseling, and palliative care, with a deep understanding of the complexities of grief, loss, and bereavement. The candidate will be open to travel as necessary within the designated area, and any other duties as assigned by leadership. In addition, this role will provide comprehensive bereavement support to families and caregivers following the death of a hospice patient. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grief counseling, bereavement support, and community outreach, with a deep understanding of the complexities of grief and loss. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program and a licensure for the state of Texas
- Minimum of one-year of experience in social work, grief counseling, bereavement support or related in a healthcare field, preferably in hospice or palliative care.
- Clean driving record, and valid driver’s license and auto insurance
