About The Position

Hospice Residence Aide - This position is eligible for a $2000 sign-on bonus. Named by the Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the last four years, our community-based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks experienced, talented, and compassionate hospice aides to join our Residence team. This is an exciting opportunity for hospice aides interested in providing end-of-life care at a new 10-bed hospice facility. Seeking to fill 12-hour shifts, day and overnight available.

Requirements

• Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant
• Current Massachusetts certification in good standing
• A minimum of two years prior experience in community health, long term care facility, oncology, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to be a team player and work harmoniously with patients, families, co-workers, and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to terminally ill patients residing at the hospice house following the established plan of care.
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive, courteous, and helpful attitude toward all patients and their families and a commitment toward exceeding the needs of our customers.
