Hospice Registered Nurse - Per Diem
About The Position
Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to join our fully accredited hospice program. In Hospice, we focus on providing comfort and support to ensure our patients can remain at home, comfortable, and out of the hospital. This unique environment allows nurses to truly excel. Our nurses operate with a high level of autonomy, engaging in assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making, often as the sole clinician in a patient's home at any given time. They demonstrate confidence in their skills and abilities. Our nurses maintain a holistic perspective, asking broader questions and conducting thorough assessments while also delivering day-to-day care. They are strong communicators who understand the challenges of being part of a remote team and the importance of effective communication in patient care. Above all, our nurses exhibit compassion and care in all they do.
Requirements
- Current Washington state RN license in good standing
- Current American Heart Association BLS
Nice To Haves
- Hospice experience preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Specialty areas may require additional experience, certifications, and licenses
