Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of 1 year of hospice nursing experience.
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently.
Compassionate approach and adaptability to diverse social, racial, cultural, and religious backgrounds.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within a 15-25 mile radius regularly.
Current RN license in California
Hospice experience
Reliable transportation for travel within the designated service area

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to terminally ill patients in accordance with individualized care plans.
Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and families throughout the hospice care journey, including during bereavement.
Collaborate with the hospice care team to deliver the highest standard of care.
Assess and respond quickly and accurately to patient needs outside a hospital setting.
