Opportunities available to shadow a nurse Full-Time Night Shift Hospice On-Call Visit Registered Nurse (RN) Homecare/Nursing Homes in the Capital Region Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 12:00a - 8:00a with an every other weekend rotation. The Community Hospice has a wonderful opportunity for a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to work as part of our Hospice Care Team caring for patients and families in the homecare and nursing home setting after hours on call. Requirements
- A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York
- Associates Degree in Nursing, BSN preferred
- 1 year recent experience as an RN. Homecare RN experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to actively listen and respond appropriately to patients/families as well as to support patient/families through times of crisis.
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record and reliable vehicle
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospice experience preferred but NOT required.
Responsibilities
- As an RN you will visit patients who are in need of symptom management after hours in their homes and in the nursing home setting.
