Clinical Manager – Hospice (RN) in Jersey City, NJ (NHH) Salary: $100,000- $115,000 per year PTO, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) match BAYADA HOME HEALTH CARE is seeking a full-time Clinical Manager (RN) – Hospice for our New Jersey Hudson Hospice (NHH) office in Jersey City, NJ. This team provides best-in-class hospice care to clients and families throughout Hudson County and surrounding communities, helping them experience comfort, dignity, and peace at end of life. What You’ll Do As the Clinical Manager – Hospice, you will: Lead and support the hospice field team (RNs, LPNs, HHAs, and other IDG members) to ensure safe, high-quality, end-of-life care. Oversee clinical case management Collaborate with the IDG to develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care Support RN Case Managers with comprehensive assessments, symptom management, and care planning. Act as an internal case manager and client advocate. Review and elevate clinical quality: Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Support adherence to Medicare, CHAP, and BAYADA standards, policies, and procedures. Participate in infection control, incident investigations, and quality improvement initiatives. Develop and mentor field staff: Participate in hiring, onboarding, and competency validation for new clinicians. Provide field supervision, coaching, and performance feedback. Support ongoing education and development in hospice best practices and The BAYADA Way. Partner across the office and community: Collaborate closely with the Director, Client Services Manager, and interdisciplinary team on staffing, scheduling, and service delivery. Build strong relationships with physicians, facilities, and community partners. Represent BAYADA in the community and support growth through excellent service and reputation. What You Bring

Requirements

  • Current RN license in good standing in New Jersey (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Graduate of an accredited and approved nursing program; BSN preferred (and required where state regulations apply).
  • Minimum 2 years of recent, verifiable clinical RN experience, with at least 1 year in hospice, palliative care, or home care strongly preferred.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience (charge nurse, preceptor, team lead, or manager).
  • Strong clinical assessment, symptom management, and end-of-life care skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort using basic PC systems for documentation and communication.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospice IDG experience (working with physicians, social work, spiritual care, and other disciplines).
  • Experience with Medicare hospice regulations, CHAP standards, and electronic documentation.
  • Passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing clinicians in a values-driven environment.
