About The Position

The Community Education Liaison at Ascend Hospice & Palliative Care is responsible for facilitating patient admissions through marketing and educational activities. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals and community organizations to promote hospice services and enhance public understanding of hospice care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience in marketing, preferably in hospice or healthcare environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to create leads and manage territory effectively.
  • Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in home health, long-term care, or pharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities

  • Generate business by creating and maintaining relationships with physicians and medical professionals.
  • Prepare and conduct calls and in-service presentations to potential referral sources.
  • Participate in community programs and make presentations to promote hospice philosophy and services.
  • Promote an atmosphere of privacy, dignity, and well-being for all patients.
  • Serve as a resource for internal and external stakeholders, supporting the organization's mission and vision.
