About The Position

We are looking for a Part Time Hospice Marketer for El Paso, TX to secure patients that require our services by implementing existing marketing strategies, improving on those strategies and helping to identify new strategies. Some of the responsibilities include: Establish rapport, credibility, and integrity with existing accounts and pending prospects. Provide feedback from referral sources regarding Agency performance. Create and propose business development opportunities that will benefit our company by increasing visibility in each community. Generate and manage leads from various referral sources while being a liaison between the Agency and the community regarding community and customer needs. Develop and promote home health programs and services while maintaining the standards of practice consistent with quality health care and maximizing human, financial and equipment resources. Meet or exceed referral to admission goals. Conduct daily rounds in the assigned market (El Paso, TX) to identify new patients in need of Hospice services. Establish a public relations program for interpretation of the agency’s services and to foster good working relations with physicians and community agencies.

Requirements

  • Spanish Bilingual Required.
  • Experience in hospice required.
  • Established referral relationships in the area.
  • Thorough understanding of the hospice market and referral sources.
  • Proven history of achieving or exceeding established census goals.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to use discretion concerning sensitive information and adhere to HIPAA.
  • Ability to work on own initiative within clearly defined parameters.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Must have and maintain a valid state driver license, have a registered and reliable vehicle that meets state law standards, and meets the insurance standards of company.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate of an accredited college/university is preferred.
  • Working experience with an insurance company, private case management company, or HMO preferred.
