LPN Home Care
About The Position
We are looking for a Hospice home care LPN Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and every other weekend to provide care and support to terminally ill patients and their families. You will be providing care to one patient at a time. We typically care for patients in their own home. We also care for patients in skilled nursing facilities, the Hospice Siegenthaler Center a four bed residence, the Abraham House in Utica & Rome and anywhere else the patient may call "home". We serve patients in Oneida, Herkimer and eastern Madison Counties and try to assign staff close to where they live. A compassionate nature and excellent interpersonal skills will make you a good candidate for this position. We expect you to be confident and compassionate in caring for the terminally ill, performing tasks such as administering medication and providing emotional support. The goal is to help patients live their final days with dignity and comfort.
Requirements
- Experience: Homecare: 1 year (Preferred)
- License: Licensed Practical Nurse (Required)
