About The Position
Good Samaritan Hospice is looking for a motivated, relationship-focused professional to join our team as a Hospice Community Liaison. In this role, you’ll be out in the community building connections and sharing the value of hospice care through education and outreach. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, has a heart for compassionate care, and is comfortable navigating the healthcare environment. Requirements
- 1–2 years of marketing or related experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working within the healthcare system
- Proficiency with computers and documentation
Nice To Haves
- Hospice or healthcare marketing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, including assisted living and skilled nursing facilities, physician offices, and hospitals
- Provide education about hospice services to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Serve as a trusted resource in the community, helping individuals understand hospice care and available services
- Travel within a defined territory throughout Western Pennsylvania
