About The Position
Hillcrest Health & Living is seeking a compassionate Hospice Assistant (CNA) to join our Iowa hospice team. Requirements
- STAR mentality: Selfless, Tough, Accountable, Respectful
- Active CNA certification in the state of Iowa
- Minimum two years of personal care experience
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance
Nice To Haves
- One year of home health or hospice experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care in accordance with each patient’s written plan of care
- Accurately document all care provided
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and families
- Observe and report changes in condition, concerns, or needs to the hospice team
- Support patient comfort, dignity, and quality of life
