About The Position

Good Samaritan Hospice, a mission of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, provides compassionate home care, facility based, and inpatient hospice services to our patients and their families. Our home care coverage area spreads throughout several counties in Western Pennsylvania with inpatient locations in Wexford, Cabot, and Beaver. The Good Samaritan Hospice team works together to provide relief through pain control and symptom management, while offering emotional, social and spiritual support for the patient and family. We strive to hire excellent people at Concordia - and keep them as well! Good Samaritan Hospice, an entity of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, is seeking a Clinical Supervisor, RN for a full time position which is based at our Administrative office in Valencia, PA. Our Hospice Clinical Supervisors are the heart of our organization and are responsible for overseeing day to day patient care by assisting patients, caregivers/families, Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) members and health care providers involved in our patient care. The Clinical Supervisor RN will work Monday through Friday a week with a holiday and weekend rotation (every fourth weekend.)

Requirements

Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
Possesses strong assessment, problem solving and decision making skills
Solid computer skills, including Word, Excel and electronic medical record (EMR) programs
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
Must be able to identify and anticipate patient and family needs
