Residential Hospice is looking for a Clinical Educator (RN) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate education and training curricula collaboratively with the Sr. VP of Operations for all divisions of the organization. Additionally, coordinate and implement staff education, orientation, and competencies in alignment with regulatory requirements, company strategic initiatives, best practices, and employee needs. This position is a hybrid-remote position that could require occasional travel to our Troy, MI or Lapeer, MI office. Requirements

  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in either Michigan, Illinois or Pennsylvania
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • 2 years of experience in Hospice Education

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or health care-related field preferred
  • 1 year of experience in Quality Improvement related activities preferred

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with Human Resources, coordinate Agency orientation for clinical staff
  • Develop and coordinate ongoing staff development and clinical training course content
  • Ensure Agency compliance with required orientation and ongoing educational and in-service needs as directed by the Medicare CoPs, CHAP standards, and other applicable accreditation/governmental agency requirements
  • Working with Clinical leadership, coordinate Staff Meeting Agenda and In-services along with content
  • Participate with clinical leadership staff in the selection of agency preceptors/mentors
  • Develop preceptor/mentor curriculum and ensures training of Agency preceptors/mentors
  • Collaborate with clinical management staff on process improvement and problem solving, including staff education and remediation needs
  • Perform field visits as needed
