Our chaplains provide spiritual counseling to patients and families dealing with a terminal illness. Chaplains assess for spiritual concerns and provide emotional and spiritual support, life review and connection with the patient/family’s own religious and spiritual practices. You will collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and follow an ongoing individualized plan of care for the patient and family. The bereavement coordinator role is responsible for providing support to those in need after the death of a loved one. This includes one-on-one support through visits or phone calls, sending written resources and materials and providing support in group settings if needed.
