Home Care Assistance is seeking experienced, compassionate hospice caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical in-home care to hospice patients and their families. Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of hospice caregiving experience required
- Hospice experience will be verified prior to hire
- Minimum 24 hours/week availability
- Ability to transfer up to 150 lbs. with assistive devices
- Valid driver’s license, registration, and insurance
- Clean background and driving record
- Must pass a drug screen
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice and end-of-life care
- Assist with personal care (bathing, hygiene, grooming)
- Support comfort measures and dignity-focused care
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Assist with transferring and ambulation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families
