The ideal candidate will be adept at administrative tasks and comfortable using the Home Care, Homebase EMR system. Assist the Director of Nursing in the daily operations of the hospice program. Perform administrative tasks, including documentation, reporting, and compliance monitoring, using the Home Care, Homebase EMR system. Promotes the philosophy and administrative policies of the Hospice, in an effort to ensure quality of patient care. Supervises and provides direction to subordinates, in an effort to ensure quality, compliance with the Plan of Care, assessment and reassessment of patients' needs, and continuity of services by appropriate health care personnel. Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment. Ensure high-quality care is delivered to patients by adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Participate in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing staff. Address and resolve any patient or staff concerns promptly and professionally. Stay current with the latest hospice care practices and regulatory requirements. Promotes and educates regarding the concepts of infection control and standard precautions in coordinating and performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease.
