About The Position
Join Our Team as a Part-Time CNA! We’re excited to announce three part-time CNA opportunities (24 hours per week) for compassionate, dedicated professionals who want to make a difference. Home Health Team One position primarily covering our Southern territories (Nelson & Buckingham) One position covering our Western territories (Augusta, Albemarle & Greene) Facilities Team One position serving care facilities in Albemarle and Charlottesville If you’re passionate about providing exceptional care and want a flexible schedule with meaningful work, we’d love to hear from you!
Requirements
- Registered by the Virginia Department of Health Professions as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- One year of relevant experience required
- Driver’s license, personal automobile, and current automobile liability insurance
- Self-motivation
- Time management
- Ability to build trust and rapport with patients and families
- Ability to function in stressful situations
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Hospice experience, preferred
Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assisting with hygiene, toileting, mobility, and meal preparation.
- Health Monitoring: Measuring and recording fluid intake/output, and reporting changes to the nurse supervisor.
- Documentation: Maintaining electronic medical records (EMR) and documenting services provided.
- Housekeeping: Performing light housekeeping duties in the patient area.
- Patient Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant environment while following infection control principles.
- Professional Development: Maintaining competency and registration.
