About The Position

Our spectrum of home-based services now includes Skilled Home Health Care, Palliative Care, Adult Hospice Care and Pediatric Care. Our team approach strives to address practical, social, emotional and spiritual aspects of care, with the goal to maximize quality of life for our patients, caregivers and families. We are currently seeking a full time Hospice Aide to provide personal care services to our hospice patients. Schedule: Monday - Friday including rotating weekends; 8:30am - 5:00pm Location: San Francisco County MUST HAVE HHA LICENSE By the Bay Health follows all CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel.
Requirements
- Completion of an approved Home Health Aide (HHA) training program.
- HOME CARE AIDE (HCA) CERTIFICATION IS NOT ACCEPTED.
- Current California Driver’s License and automobile insurance that meets State of California requirements, if driving a car.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hospice or home health preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist patient in bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair as needed
- Assist patient in and out of bed and with ambulation
- Turn patient in bed, position for comfort, and change bed linen
- Assist with prescribed exercises as directed
