As we continue to grow, we’re looking for dedicated and compassionate Hospice Aides (HHAs) to join our team and make a lasting impact. Position Summary As a Certified Hospice Aide (HHA) , you will be a vital member of our interdisciplinary care team, working under the supervision of a registered nurse to provide personal care and support to patients in their homes. You’ll help ensure comfort, dignity, and safety for patients during their end-of-life journey.

Requirements

  • Active California Home Health Aide Certification.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Empathy and compassion for patients and families.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
  • Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients; prolonged standing and walking required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and skin care.
  • Assist with ambulation, exercise, and range-of-motion activities as directed.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals; assist with feeding as needed.
  • Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) when ordered.
  • Support patients with self-administration of medications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for patients.
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties as appropriate.
  • Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
  • Attend interdisciplinary case conferences and contribute to care planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to agency standards.
