As the Home and Community Bases Services Aide, you will provide support, assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for an individual to be able to remain in their own home. This is a Full Time position doing Home Visits for Hospice Care Our Business Hours are Mon-Fri, 8AM-4:30PM Our agency covers a 50 mile radius. Candidates must be able to see patients within this area You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Requirements
- Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation
- Current CPR certification
- CNA license in VA
- Ability to work flexible hours and independently
- Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
- VA: Successful completion of a competency evaluation and in-service training
Nice To Haves
- 6+ months of home care experience
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
- Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
- Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
- Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
