We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Full-Time Hospice Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) for our Hospice division in the Snohomish County area. The working hours for this role are from 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexible schedule options! Mon to Fri, Tue to Sat, Sun to Thu. Requirements
- Active Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Valid driver's license and insured, reliable vehicle.
Nice To Haves
- Prior hospice agency experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct hospice admissions and start plans of care
- Triage and respond to urgent patient/family needs after hours
- Manage symptoms and initiate comfort measures
- Educate families on hospice care and what to expect
- Document assessments and interventions in EMR
- Coordinate with providers and the care team
- Support patients and families through end-of-life care
