We are seeking an experienced administrator with all required licenses and certifications to oversee our hospice program, ensuring exceptional patient care and operational excellence.   • Oversee clinical, administrative, and financial operations of the hospice program.
  • Build their own Hospice operational team.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) standards and Medicare/Medicaid requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered, compassionate care.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality assurance programs to maintain high standards.
  • Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and financial performance to support program sustainability and growth.
  • Foster relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure staff maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing training.
  • Valid Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License (active and in good standing with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation).
  • 2 years of experience operating a Hospice Company.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required for clinical oversight roles).
  • Compliance with any additional certifications required by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) or IDPH for hospice administrators.
  • Must consent to and pass a full background check , including criminal history, as required by Illinois state regulations and company policy.
  • Minimum of 2 years in hospice or healthcare administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in managing compliance with Medicare/Medicaid regulations and accreditation standards (e.g., CHAP, Joint Commission).
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field (required).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Illinois hospice regulations and community healthcare networks.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused mindset with a commitment to quality care.
  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field (preferred).
