About The Position

At Brighton/Suncrest Hospice our goal is to change the expectation of hospice care in your area by providing exceptional care and service to our patients. This is achieved by allocating the resources to increase our staff to patient ratios, thereby increasing clinical visits while lowering clinician caseloads. The Executive Director/Administrator is responsible for the overall direction of the location's services. They will establish, implement, and evaluate goals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote the standards of quality, and contribute to the total organization and philosophy. They are responsible for hiring of qualified hospice personnel: the provision of hospice services, directly, and the delegation to and coordination of hospice personnel evaluations; and establishing standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly, establish and maintain effective relationships with team members to problem-solve in an educational and cooperative manner.
  • A strong leader with impeccable organizational, strategic, analytical and project management skills.
  • A solid communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others.
  • Hospice experience preferred
  • Preferred experience in customer relations and clinical development.
  • Administrative Management: 2 years
  • Health related industry: 2 years
  • Bachelor's Degree or preferred Bachelor's or master's Degree in a health-related field
  • Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance

Nice To Haves

  • Hospice experience preferred
  • Preferred experience in customer relations and clinical development.
  • Bachelor's or master's Degree in a health-related field
