About The Position

Join our Nursery team to support a research and plant identification project. In this role, you’ll assist with identifying plant species and accurately entering data to support our nursery operations. This is a hybrid internship: primarily remote, with some days required for training at our corporate headquarters in Roswell, GA. Time commitment is 20+ hours per week, and compensation ranges from $17–$18/hour depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Excel experience required
• Plant knowledge and nursery knowledge required
• Attention to detail required
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge/classroom experience or interest in plant sciences/horticulture and agriculture

Responsibilities

• Accurate data entry to ensure records and inventory are properly maintained
• Research proper plant names and descriptions
• Update/change existing nursery plant descriptions in pre-built worksheets
• Assign correct attributes to items based on research
• Validate proper spelling of plant names and descriptions
• Reconfigure plant size when needing to update size chart
• Identify generic or non-descript item descriptions for inactivation
• Identify duplicate descriptions for inactivation
