Responsibilities

• Assess and deliver educational programming based on local needs within the Horticulture Program Area.
• Educate through direct methods such as individual consultations, training classes, group meetings, tours, and volunteer training.
• Communicate knowledge through indirect methods such as written, audio, visual, and social content.
• Document programming impacts for targeted stakeholders.
• Develop, deliver, and evaluate educational programming within the Horticulture Program Area.
• Responsible for resource development, management, and sustainability to support Extension educational programming.
• Partner and collaborate with the Extension Advisory Council and local officials in planning educational phases of the county program.
• Collaborate across Program Teams to develop and evaluate educational programming outside the primary Program Area.
• Support day-to-day functions of the county offices and assist with general Extension inquiries.
• Identify and participate in opportunities for self-improvement and professional development.
