About The Position

Performs skilled landscaping and manual work necessary to maintain the Suquamish Clearwater Casino and Resort, and Kiana Lodge grounds and other designated Port Madison Enterprises properties in a neat, clean and well-organized manner.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Knowledgeable in golf terminology and etiquette
Communicates with coworkers in a professional and courteous manner
Good organizational skills and problem-solving skills
Must possess a valid State of WA driver’s license with an excellent driving record
Ability to operate a motorized and electric driven vehicle in a proficient manner
High School diploma or GED required.
1-2 years landscaping experience preferred
Basic understanding of general planting practices to extend the life of plants and eye appeal
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. while standing, twisting or bending, kneeling, squatting and crawling.
Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
Manual and finger dexterity for operation of equipment and maintaining logs.
Must be able to reach at or below/above shoulder level on a continuous basis.

Responsibilities

Cuts lawns using hand mower or power mower
Trims and edges walkways, flowerbeds and walls
Prunes shrubs and trees
Removes plant debris, especially in guest areas
Plants grass, flowers, trees and shrubs
Cleans drainage ditches and culverts
Maintains the appearance of sidewalks, driveways, cart paths, parking lots and other common areas
Safely operates all equipment and tools used to fulfill duties
Presents Spectacular Service during all guest and internal customer interactions
Provide feedback and ideas to supervisor and management team relative to planting
Proficient understanding of OSHA regulations
Completes required training in an effort to gain knowledge to enhance the presentation of grounds
Other duties as assigned
