About The Position
Horticultural Production Team Member (Seasonal) Full-time, Monday - Friday. Starting pay: $17 - 19/hr. depending on experience. This position is at our Ault Production facility; applicants must be willing to travel to Ault to be considered for this role. Fort Collins Nursery is hiring seasonal Horticultural Production Team Members to help grow and care for the plants that supply our retail nursery. What You’ll Do Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, pruning, and general plant care. Monitor plant health and help identify pests or disease issues. Grow a massive variety of over 100,000 plants - everything from perennials to trees, with a big focus on natives. Operate and maintain horticultural tools and equipment. Assist with receiving shipments, loading plants and pulling orders, and grounds maintenance. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Collaborate with team members to meet seasonal production goals.
Requirements
- Interest in horticultural production or outdoor work.
- Ability to work physically and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation required.
Nice To Haves
- Landscaping or horticulture experience.
- Familiarity with tools, equipment, or plant care (not required—we’re happy to train!).
