Lindy Farm is committed to maintaining the highest care, maintenance, and health standards for the farm's horses and facilities. Position Summaries: The Horse Truck Driver is responsible for transporting the horses. Your Role: Transport horses safely between farms, races, and/or other equine events. Load and unload horses in a safe manner Hook the trailer to the truck Accurately maintain a logbook Ensure the truck is well-maintained and clean Report incidents to the manager Assist with general stud duties Support farm duties as needed. Day and overnight trips to other farms and training when necessary. Maintains reasonable, regular, and punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards. Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card
  • Have a good attitude and participate as a member of the team.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Transport horses safely between farms, races, and/or other equine events.
