About The Position

This internship offers hands-on experience in digital strategy, content creation, analytics, and campaign execution within a fast-paced, consumer-focused environment. Interns will gain real-world experience in CPG digital marketing, exposure to brand strategy and campaign development, mentorship from experienced marketing professionals, opportunities to contribute to high-impact projects, and networking within a dynamic and innovative organization.

Requirements

  • Must graduate in August 2026, December 2026, May 2027 and major in Food Marketing, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred.
  • Possesses strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong interest in digital marketing and consumer behavior.
  • Creative thinker with attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and persuasive skills are necessary for success in this position.
  • Possesses a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
  • Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
  • Must be comfortable with the preparation and consumption of a variety of Hormel Foods Products which may include but not limited to pork, beef, chicken, turkey and nuts.
  • This position will require access to and/or the utilization of a personal motor vehicle to get to and from the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing digital campaigns across social media, email, and paid media channels.
  • Support content development for websites, blogs, and social platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and others.
  • Conduct competitive research and trend analysis to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including brand, shopper marketing, and e-commerce.
  • Help manage influencer partnerships and user-generated content initiatives.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas to enhance digital engagement.
