About The Position

Hormel Foods Corporation is seeking a Corporate Development Intern to gain real-world experience supporting enterprise acquisition and divestiture, strategy, and business transformation projects. This internship will provide opportunities to work in key areas such as acquisition and divestiture projects, long-range planning and strategy development, corporate venturing and external innovation, enterprise project services, and enterprise business process transformation. Interns will have learning opportunities and interaction across the entire company, including exposure and presentation opportunities to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Must graduate in August 2026, December 2026, or May 2027 with a major in Accounting, Finance, Marketing or a related field
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently to drive results
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Effective communication skills with senior management
• A pattern of strong goal setting and accountability
• Highly developed interpersonal and persuasive skills
• Ability to make recommendations with limited information
• Must be comfortable with the preparation and consumption of meat products, specifically pork, beef, turkey, chicken, and nuts
• Access to and/or utilization of a personal motor vehicle to commute to the workplace
