About The Position

The sub-contractor will perform tasks involving underground telecommunications work at various construction and service sites. Most important skill will be communicating with internal & external teams to make sure all projects are on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Certificate of Insurance (COI) is required.
• Must be able to pass background check.
• Own/Operate HDD Bore and Trenching heavy equipment - Rock Capable.
• Own/Operate medium duty trenching equipment.
• Own/Operate Excavator.
• Understanding and Responsibility to call 811 for locates.
• Basic comprehension of as-built and map reading.

Responsibilities

• Perform underground telecommunications work at various construction and service sites.
• Communicate with internal & external teams to ensure projects are on time and within budget.
• Own/Operate HDD Bore and Trenching heavy equipment - Rock Capable.
• Own/Operate medium duty trenching equipment.
• Own/Operate Excavator.
• Call 811 for locates.
• Perform Inter-duct (Conduit) Placement, Wiring & Fiber Optic Installation.
• Place Manhole/Handhole.
• Push and Pull COAX/Fiber cable.
• Understand and read as-built and maps.
