As a Production Welder with John Deere Horicon Works in Horicon, WI, you will perform weld operations in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork. Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following: Weld parts and sub-assemblies to specification using various welding processes. Adjust voltage, heat, pressure, and speed to maintain quality. Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures. Utilize manufacturing tools to record data and keep records for quality and maintenance. Check results for conformance to specifications and make necessary corrections. Operate power driven equipment such as forklifts and industrial trucks to move material, parts, and equipment. Use various types of tools and equipment to perform work - including but not limited to CNC / robotic welding equipment, safety equipment, manual arc welders, grinders, hoists, fixtures, and applicable hand and power tools. Lubricate, check, and clean work equipment and tooling. Assist and support other team members. Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.
