About The Position

The Honor Bar Attendant at The Ritz-Carlton Naples is responsible for creating positive guest experiences by managing the honor bar in guest rooms. This role involves maintaining inventory, cleanliness, and appearance of the honor bar, as well as responding to guest requests and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED certificate is preferred.
  • No prior related work experience is required.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
  • No specific license or certification is needed.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate positive guest experiences with the honor bar in the room.
  • Maintain inventory of the honor bar, room accessories, and promotional materials, replacing them as necessary.
  • Keep the honor bar clean and well-presented.
  • Utilize software and manual devices to record sales and conduct inventories as required.
  • Maintain knowledge of product availability, expiration dates, and inventory levels to avoid stockouts.
  • Prepare the replenishment cart and push it to floors where rooms are ready for inventory.
  • Respond to guest requests promptly.
  • Communicate any issues related to the honor bar operation to hotel management.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring a neat and professional appearance.
  • Welcome and attend to all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
  • Meet quality control expectations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, supporting the team to achieve common goals.
  • Speak clearly and professionally with others.
  • Read and visually verify information in various formats (e.g., small print).
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
  • Move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance.
  • Navigate tight, confined, or elevated spaces, including stairs and/or service ramps.
  • Reach above the head and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
